Required equipment
Oe set of manual welding equipment, one handle type angle grinder, one electric air hammer, and one flat ruler.
Preparation before flange welding
Check and debug the equipment to ensure its normal operation; 2. Preparation φ It is best to dry the 4.0J402 welding rod at 300 ℃ -350 ℃ for one hour
Flange welding process
Assemble the vertebral body and large flange together according to the drawing requirements, and then evenly divide the large flange into 8 equal parts. 2. Due to the thicker flange and larger groove, segmented symmetrical and multi-layer welding is adopted for welding.
Quality of flange welds
The weld seam strength is required to reach at least the strength of the base material. The surface of the weld seam is flat and smooth, without defects such as burn through, porosity, welding leakage, slag inclusion, undercut, incomplete welding, etc. The excess height is less than 2mm.
Flange precautions
When backing up, always use J506 welding rod for manual surfacing and use low current welding. Strictly follow the welding process for welding. 2. After each welding position is completed, a horizontal ruler should be used to measure the deformation of the flange plane. 3. Use a pneumatic hammer to strike the weld seam while welding to eliminate stress.
A gasket is a circular ring made of a material that can produce plastic deformation and has a certain strength. Most gaskets are cut from non-metallic plates or made by professional factories according to specified dimensions, and their materials are asbestos rubber sheets, asbestos sheets, PTFE sheets, polyethylene sheets, etc; A metal gasket made by wrapping non-metallic materials such as asbestos with thin metal plates (such as white iron sheet and stainless steel); There is also a type of spiral wound gasket made of thin steel strip and asbestos strip, the most commonly used being a metal spiral wound gasket made of stainless steel strip and graphite strip. Depending on the usage environment, asbestos can also be used as the spiral wound gasket. Ordinary rubber gaskets are suitable for applications with temperatures below 120 ℃; Asbestos rubber gaskets are suitable for situations where water vapor temperature is below 450 ℃, oil temperature is below 350 ℃, and pressure is below 5MPa. For general corrosive media, the most commonly used is acid resistant asbestos board. In high-pressure equipment and pipelines, lens shaped or other shaped metal gaskets made of copper, aluminum, grade 10 steel, or stainless steel are used. The contact width between the high-pressure gasket and the sealing surface is very narrow (line contact), and the machining smoothness between the sealing surface and the gasket is high.
Low pressure small diameter threaded flanges are used, while high pressure and low pressure large diameter welded flanges are used. The thickness of flange plates and the diameter and quantity of connecting bolts vary with different pressures.
